Schlock as my dictionary defines it is slang for "something of cheap or inferior quality" And you mentioned you wanted it to be something with changing content of a random sort. Well how about modeling the site on one of those candy/toy dispensers at the store, the ones that are in the red metal cases. You put in a quarter and get something out. usually it's kind of cheesy but might be fun for a little bit. If you're really technically inclined you can set up personalized "pockets" for your site's visitors where they show off the "prizes" they've received in the random draw ...and they could swap "prizes" with people.
