Hmm... I think there needs to be another "meow cake" as my wife and I have three cats. One of those cats would feel left out.

Yes, they can have their cake and eat it too.

Would you believe I didn't have any/many pets when growing up? Never a cat or a dog. Had a parakeet, a goldfish and some guppies. The parakeet died on the way to the food bowl. The goldfish decided he was supposed to be in the circus and we found him on the floor one day after he lept a little too high out of the bowl.

The guppies on the other hand, seemed to eat each other up. Not sure how the last one ate himself, but I was left with a fish bowl with just sea snails in it.

They did win me a prize in the town pet show: Slowest Pet.

But no "normal" pets.

Well, most normal people have cats or dogs. Maybe a rabbit or a hamster. But not me.

You would think a boy like me would have had some weird pet like a pygmy wildebeest, or a long-haired orangatang. But no. I can't say that I did.

Which makes this entry a little boring perhaps?

Ah, well, that's life. Maybe if I had had a normal pet like everyone else, this entry might have been funny. Go complain to my parents!

But really, I lied. I lived in a house with 29 cats. All of them named Morris. None of them ate anything but applesauce and macadamia nuts. That was the life. I almost drowned in a sea of hairballs one Christmas. Santa almost mistook me for catnip.
