In high school I started keeping track of all the books I finished. Once you start, you sort of feel funny not continuing the list. Now I feel bad I didn't start the
list sooner. So, here it is, no longer a list on binder paper, but rather in a database and all that fancy jazz. Perhaps it'll be of some interest to you - getting a sense for my
interests. But regardless, it's sort of a legacy thing for me.
a review of one of the books read by matte elsbernd
I think it was odd timing that I read this book while in the hospital with my wife awaiting the birth of our child giving the very real and sad take on society's view on intelligent kids and other things people can't understand or control.
Notwithstanding that, I liked aspects of this book, but it seemed to go on and on. It became tedious to me, just like Reid get the tedious at traveling through thousands of universes.
While I see he has written others in a series, I don't think I'll be trying them anytime soon. Also think it's back to non-fiction for a while. Fiction is a little too anxiety-filled at the moment.
